The Vetala are an ancient spirit form vampire clan that haunted the people of ancient Hindu culture. To do this they reincarnated the cadavers of people who had been recently deceased. They would create these "walking dead" cadavers for no other reason than to terrify them. They do not live off of blood, but the energies of the universe as radiated by the Cosmic Life Force. It's essentially the same kind of energies that sanguine vampires get from drinking blood.
Either way, this piece holds one of the Vetala. The name cannot be stated out loud and the vampire will give it to you once you own the piece and you have bonded to his energies.
