There is a world full of people out there that have their own understanding of what it actually means to be a vampire. You could probably type vampire into your search bar and a million different results will come up. It today's day and age, however, you have to be very careful and decisive as to what you believe and what you don't believe. There are hundreds of opinions on what it actually means to be a vampire and a lot of them are extremely perverse from the truth. There are many different types of vampires, but the basis of what makes an entity a vampire is universal and nobody knows this better than the Templum Lamia.
The Templum Lamia is a secret society that you probably haven't heard of for obvious reasons. They exist only in the shadows and don't care too much to make their presence publicly known. For adepts who have the ability to pinpoint and identify these beings, they don't view as so much of a crisis because people in the world of the occult know that some things are better left unsaid and unidentified. My only run in with one of these members was with vampire who goes by the name Gregory. I picked up on him one time during an investigation. He knew it because he could sense it. He determined that it would be safe to show himself to me and I'm glad he did. We had a nice little question and answer session during which I found out that he was originally from Nova Scotia and was turned into a vampire somewhere in the late 1600s.
At our farewell to one another, Gregory slipped back into the shadows to where I could no longer see or feel him... vampires can travel fast. He left this piece as a parting gift. I call it Vampire Rave. This necklace was soaked in vampire blood for 3 mooncycles, which is what gave the coloring to the beads. Using this piece invokes a charm that will summon a vampire spirit to you. Together you will exist as one being, as this vampire spirit will manifest himself into your body but you will always remain in full control. When this soul merges with your own, its knowledge will be automatically infused into your bank of knowledge. This means that you gain all the knowledge and insight of a timeless vampire soul along with all of his magic and all of his ability. This is kind of like a no holds barred type of piece because it will come on strong, give you raw power of the vampire who comes to you, and will end whenever you say it ends.
You can use this piece over and over again. When you feel like you've gotten all you can out of the vampire that is with you, you can simply send that one on its way and summon another one. This one will stay with you until you say the time has come. In this way, you will gain an infinite amount of knowledge while gaining the powers and abilities that you want.
