We haven't offered a really good djinn piece in a while (a week or so!), so that is what I'm going to do next. We have had this piece for quite a while because the piece is really good at helping draw in other djinn so that we could make more djinn pieces for the website. However, we have finally had a chance to duplicate some of our items, so we are now putting this on the website. With this piece, there really isn't a back story. We received it at the underground auction and have been using it ever since. It didn't take a few weeks to get used to using this piece when we first started using it, so we imagine it might take you that long, too.
In ancient times there was a ring that Solomon had created out of gold and a lone diamond. The diamond was a piece of material he had been working with for some time that gave him full control of djinn and kept him safe from them. Usually, djinn are the ones with all the mind-control magic, so he just wanted to be on the safe side. He used this piece to conjure djinn and force them to build his First Temple and fortify it using their magic to bring wealth and to grant fortuitous blessings.
One of the djinn became jealous and when Solomon was bathing in the Jordan River he stole the ring and sat himself upon Solomon's throne. Solomon became a wanderer until God compelled the djinn to throw the ring into the river. Solomon then reclaimed his ring and his throne at which point he became the God-fearing king that we know from accounts that are recorded in the Bible. This ring was then hidden for safe-keeping because with God gifting Solomon Heaven djinn he had no need for the old ones.
