If you even remember the organization called the Black Hand, you probably remember that they are basically the ones that caused WWI and that after the war they pretty much went away. This is not the case. As per usual, you can't always rely on history books to tell the correct lessons. The Black Hand was around way before the start of the war and their existence continues to this day. While their presence certainly isn't as internationally known, they have hardly ceased to exist. They still exist in Serbia and the countries that used to make up Yugoslavia. Their presence has taken less of a political stance and more of a magical one. They have organized one of the largest magical societies that I have seen to date. While they probably do not have enough power to overtake the Illuminati, they definitely are on par with groups like the Freemasons and the Knights Templar. They have gathered magic from all corners of the world and have taken to developing some of the worlds most powerful items an relics. In fact, they even worked hand-in-hand with Hitler during WWII to help him manufacture some of his most powerful magic. Today they work behind the scenes in many different aspects of world government, as well as independent magical contracting, but like I said their presence is not as known. This is because their handiwork remains in the background, where they do not have to answer for anything that happens. They are a group of magical mercenaries that creates magic for some of the most powerful groups of people in the world such as the Royal Family, the Saudi Crown Princes, the United States Government, and the UN Security Council.
This is the first time that we are offering a piece that was actually made by the Black Hand. Prior to this, we weren't ever sure of how to get in contact with them. We received a tip from a friend of ours (okay, it was Tomer) and it wasn't long before we were contacted back by the Black Hand for a personal showing of what they have to offer. I will spare the details and I will get straight to the point. We were invited to HQ of the Black Hand, which is still kind of run mafioso style. It's like you don't know whether you are there to be treated as a business guest or if somebody is going to come out of the doorway and spray you with bullets. We had protection pieces with us, but you never know when dealing with people like this. Sometimes they reversal magic that renders any protection spell that you might have pointless. We were ushered away to a room that wasn't that impressive looking at all. In the corner was a man with who was in some sort of mask. It wasn't a Guy Fawkes mask, but it was something along those lines. It was a face overtop of his real face so that way we couldn't see his true identity. It was very strange. In a nutshell, what happened was he waved his hand and when he did, a table appeared in front of him with an item. He explained what the item was and if we wanted it, we could purchase it. If we didn't want it, we could move onto the next. However, we were only given the ability to purchase one item, so once we waved off one item, it was done. We gave up several very interesting pieces in order to have this. For example, we gave up a piece that grants immortality. We passed up a piece that would give an entire vampire transformation. We gave it all up, but the moment we found this piece we knew that we had to have it.
One of the Black Hand's most proud moments, as explained to use by the man in the mask, was when they were successful in reincarnating the ancient King Solomon. Now, I know what you are thinking. We have offered pieces that have to do with King Solomon before. Yes, we have but not like this. So, the Black Hand was able to reincarnate King Solomon. They raised him as a child all the while knowing the powerful entity that he would eventually grow up to be. As he grew up, the Black Hand was delighted to see that all the same magical abilities that he had been given in his last lifecycle were once again supplied to him during the lifecycle that they create for him. So, Solomon started creating all sorts of magical instruments, enchanted items, and other types of relics for the Black Hand. What you are getting is one of the relics that he created for the Black Hand. It is an antique incense lamp, but it is unlike any incense burner that you have ever encountered in your lifetime. When we asked the man who was standing before us what the incense burner could possibly do that was so powerful he simply responded to us, "It is the power to become." We then watched with wide eyes as the man before us lit incense and he began to take many forms. Among these forms was a djinn that granted wishes, an Angel that held the knowledge of the Book of Life, an Elven Prince that held the ability to cast all white light spells, an ancient druid that could create his own magic by simply speaking it into existence, a talking Egyptian Sphinx that told the secrets of ancient Egypt, one of the members of the Atlantean High Court, a Nephilim with the ancient white light powers to cast miracles, the Annunaki with the knowledge of the entire universe, an Ouroboros who could break the cycle of mortal rebirth, a Fairy Healer with the ability to grant spiritual awakening and enlightenment, and the list went on and on.
Each time he became a new entity, he would show us the powers that he had assumed by becoming that entity. As soon as we were astonished by what we saw, he moved on to the next. We went through this cycle for over an hour until he finally transformed back into the man in the mask. It was at this point that we knew that we were taking this piece. We approached him to let him know that we would take this relic, but he simply responded to us that he already knew. With that, he let out a low, bellowing chuckle. There was a flash of bright light and the next thing we knew, we were back in the office where we were first contacted by the Black Hand. On the counter was the relic that we had purchased from them, with a note that read, "Pleasure doing business with you. Sol." Deedee and I simply looked at each other in amazement. The letter was signed Sol and we couldn't help but wonder if that was short for Solomon and if it was had we gotten our relic from THE King Solomon? Is this why he had told us the resurrection story. After all, Solomon was a true keeper of knowledge and lover of magic. We attempted to get in contact with the Black hand after that, but every time we did we have reached a dead end. It is said that this is how they operate. Either way, I can't help but feel like it was pure fate that led us to the masked man-- who I'm 90% certain was the real resurrected King Solomon. Why else would he have been wearing a mask and why else is he so strict about his identity? I don't know. We'll never know for certain.
