The Laurion, Eternal Shapeshifter

This piece is solid sterling silver. It is an incredibly powerful piece. We will only ever have one of them simply because of what it has been made out of. This piece is an antique but the silver is actually much older than that. It's just that the power in this piece keeps the silver rejuvenated.
The Mines of Laurion are ancient mines that were mined by the Athenians for their silver in ancient times. The remnants of these mines exist today and are located in Southern Attica between Thoricus and Cape Sounion just about 50 miles south of Athens. The silver that was mined by the ancient Athenians provided much of the wealth of the city. The mine was originally abandoned in around 1 BC. There's more history to the mines and you can do a quick internet search if you are so inclined. I have a lot to tell you, so I'm moving on.
As it turns out, silver wasn't the only thing that was mined. Yes, there was the copper and the iron that was mined in the 19th and 20th Centuries before the mine was finally shut for good. That's not what I am talking about. I'm talking about a certain time of entity that had stored itself among the silver of the mine. This entity does not have a name and it is unlike any other entity that I have ever encountered in my life. We call him the Eternal Shapeshifter or the Laurion in homage to the mine that he was found in-- but an Eternal Shapeshifter is what he is.
I'm sure some of you are wondering how an entity lives among solid matter. The thing is that the Laurion doesn't have a particular shape. Hence, the name. Instead, he is a form of energy that can manipulate himself to take any physical, metaphysical, or spiritual form that he desires. This is how he was able to lodge his existence into the silver that was mined from Laurion. The silver that he was attached to was then smelted into a disc called the Laurion Disc.
The Laurion Disc is very powerful and it didn't take long for the Athenians to figure this out. The reason being is the Laurion can also shift the energies around him into unlimited powers and abilities for the owner of the disc, meaning all the owner had to do was hold the disc in his hand and command the Laurion to grant him the things he wanted. The downfall to this is that the energies that the Laurion used were the energies of the human body
Believe it or not, the human body contains a buttload of energy. There is enough energy in the human body that if this energy was turned into combustible nuclear energy there'd be enough of it to make a crater 3 miles wide and 1000 feet deep, causing a nuclear winter. It is a formidable source of energy for the Laurion who, in the past, worked through the body energies of its host to create the powers and abilities that they wanted.
The pitfall to working with the Laurion is that the Laurion craves power and total control. Using its magic manifested the abilities that the host wanted, but the Laurion was like a parasite that took over the body of the host, specifically the mind. This caused the host to eventually act very irrationally-- in domineering and brutish ways. The Laurion, fully capable of enveloping and controlling the host often did so. At that point, the host couldn't resist the energies that the Laurion Disc provided for them. It was like a drug and they fed off the power and essence of the disc.
The disc has driven people to power in very nefarious ways but has also caused the downfall of many societies. The Greeks owned the disc, so did the Romans. Attila the Hun, the Han Dynasty, Napoleon Bonaparte, Marie Antoinette, Mary Tudor, Elizabeth Bathory, Genghis Khan, and most recently Adolf Hitler. The latter is the one that we will focus on because he is the one that had the silver disc reformed into this piece. The story behind this is that of an entity that appeared to Hitler while at the Wewelsburg Castle. He had come into possession of the Laurion Disc before this and carried with him wherever he went. The magic of the Disc propelled him onto the national stage and gave him the ability to speak charismatically to gain the support of his fellow countrymen.
However, during his experience with the disc at Wewelsburg castle, he came upon an entity and two subservients. The entity that appeared to him spoke not in a verbal language, but through telepathy. He appeared as a Nemean Lion symbolizing brute force and invincibility. His head was dressed with a serpent, symbolizing eternal supremacy and unsurpassed knowledge. The Tree of Life made up the nose of the Nemean Lion and this is because knowledge blossoms within the Laurion. It both exists as the tree of knowledge when it wants to and a version of the Tree of Knowledge grows within him. As he communicated with the entity, it agreed to give him everything he ever wanted-- to allow his wildest dreams to come true.
Flanked by his side were two of his mistresses that he called Time and Fate. He conveyed that these two mistresses were at his behest and that he could control time and fate should he choose to. Of course, this manifestation was three-in-one and the Laurion is only one entity, but Hitler was a lady's man and a chauvinist so the Eternal Shapeshifter appeared in a way that appealed to Hitler's interest.
The following day Hitler ordered the Laurion Disc to be recreated into the piece that you see here. This piece was crafted to reflect the way the Laurion appeared to him in his vision. with the arcane powers that he has within himself, the Laurion was able to grant Adolf Hitler all that he wanted. By the time the United States entered the war, the axis of power had already taken over most of Europe and China was having a very tough time beating back Japan. It would have only been a matter of time before Japan would have met Germany in the East and it would have been a total Axis victory.
So what stopped in them? The United States was able to send secret members of the OSS over to Europe to confiscate what was at that point the Laurion piece that we are offering you. When Hitler was detached from his piece he eventually went crazy and the rest is history. He did eventually escape to Middle Earth, but that story is for another time. The Laurion was brought back to the United States, at which point the United States became the most powerful country in the world.
I know this is a lot of information, so I will just cut to the chase. What we are offering is this piece. This piece holds the Laurion. It is solid sterling silver.
