Abalone Bracelet, Grounded Mermaid Bracelet

We are not sure if this piece is abalone or if it is made with something that looks like abalone.  Either way, it's not important what this piece is made out of.  What is important is what this piece can do for you.  The piece was handmade by somebody name Misty.  Misty is a grounded mermaid.  No that doesn't mean that she has been sent to her room for eternity.  What this means is that she has transformed herself from a mermaid into a humanoid creature so that way she can live with the humans.  I'm not really sure why she chose to do this, but it was her choice.  The thing is that she doesn't really age, so she has to move around a lot so people don't catch onto her.  I found her in a small town outside of Harrisburg, PA.  I knew exactly what she was and called her out on it.  It was a harmless exchange, I was just enthralled in finding her because grounded mermaids are so rare.  She begged me to keep her secret and I told her that I no intention of outting her to anyone.  For my loyalty to her cause, she gave me this bracelet, even though I wouldn't have told anybody her secret anyway.  I gladly took the bracelet though.  Like I said it was hand made by Misty, who is now actually a pretty good friend of mine.
