Historians seem to get it wrong so often that they should probably be put right up there with meteorologists, who can never seem to get the weather right. This time we're talking about the Baghdad batteries, which are 5 1/2 inch clay vessels. Inside each, there is a copper cylinder held in place by asphalt. Within the cylinder has been found an oxidized iron rod, theorized to be galvanic cells used for electroplating gold onto silver objects.
All this over 2,000 year ago? I'll be the first to tell you that anything is possible. However, as right as I'm sure they'd like to be, they are wrong. These vessels are electrically charged with Earth's power. However, it's not for purposes of transferring energy to other devices like a normal battery. Rather, both of these vessels use the charge to seal two ancient djinn.
These djinn are twins. One cannot operate without the other, just like the positive and negative ends of a battery. One is an all white light djinn who grants white light wishes. One is an all dark djinn that grants all dark wishes. The ancients tried just putting the dark one in a vessel, but then the light djinn's power wouldn't work, he'd try to rescue his brother, and, well... Hell on Earth!
Either way, this piece pulls these two twin djinn from the batteries and places them into this piece. Tada! No more battery! You can use this piece to grant all of your wishes, both light, and dark. You have full control over the powers of each djinn, so use them wisely. They are very powerful
