City of Mirror
This might seem a little bit over the top. However, I promise you that once you use this piece you are going to discover that it is everything that you've ever needed in your life. It is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience reality as it was meant to be experienced. The piece comes from an investigation that we were doing on this old creepy church. I can't even tell you where the church is because I don't rightfully know. Sometimes when I'm driving I like to play this game called "get lost." I'm sure you can put 2 and 2 together, but the basics of the game are to take roads that you've never traveled down before.
On one of our most recent road trips I decided that I was going to get brave with the get lost game. I got off the highway while Deedee was sleeping and just began self-navigating through the mountains of Virginia. Those of you who know Virginia know that this probably isn't the best of ideas. For one, it's quite easy to get lost in the mountains. Secondly, all kinds of creepy stuff happens in hills of Virginia. You know, like the Hills Have Eyes type stuff. Still, it didn't make a difference to me, because I'm an adventurer at heart. When Deedee woke up, the sun was setting over the mountains. She immediately noticed that we were no longer on the highway and began hurling expletives at me. I just laughed it off, but in another few moments, when it began to get dark it was no longer funny. We were in the thick of this time. She tried to plug an address into the GPS and it didn't work.
A few more miles up the road and we came to a small side road headed East. I told her that I had headed West when I got off the highway so that maybe headed East would be better. She was so furious she didn't even care at the point. So, we headed down the side road, which soon turned into Gravel and then a dead end. As I was working on turning the car around, she told me to stop. Squinting, she asked me if I could see the light up ahead. I couldn't, so I told her to stay in the car, but it was too late she was already out of the car, determined to get directions. Unfortunately the light was only an outside lamp for a church that looked as though it has sat vacant for about 50 years or more.
I knew that we weren't getting out of there without seeing what was in the church first. So, we made our way to the church and tried the front door. Of course, it was a no go. Makes too much sense for the front door to ever work. We ended up having to break into one of the side doors. I mean, there wasn't anybody around to see us doing it, so there were no worries. I was more afraid of what was going to happen once we were inside the church. One time we went to a church where this little girl was murdered and the energy was enough to make me hurl... right there on the floor. We were navigating the church with only the light on a cellphones that could serve no other purpose for lack of cell service. That's when Deedee found some candle's at an altar in what appeared to be the main worship hall. She lit the candles and we made our way down some steps into the basement of the church. Through a couple of doors and a room or two, we came across this giant mirror. The mirror was huge. It took up nearly the whole area of the wall. You could tell it was antique, like really, really old. On either side of the mirror were pedestal stands. Atop the stands were these items. The ones we are offering for sale.
When we noticed the items, we looked at each other and we each immediately made way for one of them. When we both had one, we put them on and when we did the mirror came to life. It first began to swirl, like a rippling puddle. Then a city began to form right in front of our eyes. A very busy, bustling city. I held out my hand and it went right through the mirror. Slowly, I put my whole body through the the entrance that the mirror had become. On the other side was an enormous city. I can't even begin to described what we saw. It was very futuristic. There were all kinds of objects flying through the air, as if this is how these people commuted to where they needed to go. And they went fast too. There were all kinds of entities there. There were some that were humanoid, some that walked on all fours. Others that floated instead of walked. Some were completely translucent to the point that you could see through their bodies. Some work glass bulbs on top of their heads, where you could see their brains and the blood flowing through it. There were no cars anywhere, just the giant vehicles that we saw floating through the air. Their buildings were very tall and very close together. They were in all kinds of odd shapes. Some were skyscrapers like you'd find here on Earth. Others were pyramid shaped buildings, round shaped buildings, one was an inverted pyramid-- don't even ask me how they pulled that off.
The most peculiar thing about this city is that there were mirrors everywhere. At least one person block, possibly more. These mirrors were not just mirrors, though. They were alive. They each had some kind of street sign above them written in a language that neither Deedee nor myself understood. We watched as we did we saw the entities that lived in this city walk into the mirror, never to be seen again. Or, at least we didn't see them again. We studied these people walking through the mirrors for a time until Deedee came up with a theory that these mirrors were portals to all different types of locations. Hence, we began testing this theory, by traveling through the portals as well. With this ring we traveled to some pretty crazy magical places. For instance, there was a realm of pyramids that we visited. There was another city that was almost like this one, except the sky was red an there was three moons. We traveled through a realm of angels and a realm of treasures that could grant wealth to whomever went there. At last, we found a realm and imagined the church where we had come from. The basement of the church began to take form in the mirror an we both stepped through; then we were back.
By this time the sun had come up and we got back to the car. A few miles down the road we found a gas station with an old guy that gave us directions to the highway. As for the pieces, we took those with us. You can use either of these pieces to open up a portal to what we are calling the city of mirrors. Once you are in the city of mirrors, you can use the mirrors there to travel wherever you want to go. Literally all you have to do is imagine a place. It will begin to take form. You step through and then you are there. You can use these mirrors to travel anywhere. The past, the present, the future, realms of vampires, realms of angels, other cities like the City of Mirrors, far away realms where there are enlightened beings who can grant you powers and magic. Trust me, we have used these piece quite a bit. You can travel to far away realms where you know there are powers, to gain these powers, and then come back. To can travel to the realm of the dead to visit the deceased. I mean, the possibilities are endless, but in order to get to the City of Mirrors, you will need one of these pieces. We only have two. Once they are gone, they are gone!
This ring is sterling silver, it's size 6 and it is being displayed on an angelic charging stone.
