The Wicked Will of an Onryo | STAR
There’s a woman in Serbia that I met more recently and there was definitely an incredibly unsettling aura about her. Originally, we had heard that she was the mother of vampires, one who raises people from the dead, and manipulates them to be her immortal servants. She is also rumored to have brought back loved ones from the grave as a form of payment for one’s services. The logistics of that part had never quite been clear in the rumors, as no one quite knew what payment had been considered worthy of raising a dead person.
I personally came in contact with her in late 2015 after about a year and a half of searching for her. It turned out that she was not in fact a mother of vampires necessarily. In fact, she wasn’t quite human either… she was more of a vessel within which thrived an Onryo spirit who had never rested after seeking vengeance on those who had wronged her in life. Instead, she had continued to live in the body of one of her sisters, whom she believed had been the only mournful member of her family. The others had been driven slowly insane and eventually were led to commit suicide under the belief that she, the vengeful spirit, would cease her haunting if she was given someone to accompany her in death.
After taking over her sister’s body, which they both now share, she continues to use her powers but with a semi different motive. She received her nickname when she first raised a man from the grave in the 1700s, empowering him with her thirst and power fueled from vengeance. With it, he would come for the not-so-mournful in their dreams and strangle them to death or drain them entirely of their blood, reciting all that they had done wrong to him. He had even poisoned some of their minds, causing them to believe that they were ill and painfully dying until they would commit suicide just to be rid of the torture. He did all of this from the grave. His name was Peter Plogojowitz.
People found out about the man after digging up his grave, linking the murders back to him as they were all members of his family, friends, or past lovers. The corpse was said to be breathing and when they drove a stake through the man’s heart, it gushed blood… almost as though he had been alive all along or feeding off of his victims.
He was at the time believed to have been a vampire.
All the while, the Onryo had fed off of his vengeance. Like him, any other she had ever aided in their vengeance, they would also give her more and more power. She derived joy from the suffering and pain from those who were not mournful of the loss. She would often discern the unremorseful from the remorseful by waiting an entire month and observing the family along side the recently deceased.
This item is one she typically gives those she considers mournful and undeserving of the torment of a returned deceased loved one. It is crafted and coated in the blood of each of the spirits killed. This particular piece was not given to a surviving family member because, in this instance, there wasn’t one and the spirit itself had been allowed to rest.
It is surrounded with a paranormal aura, and laced with a small portion of the Onryo’s power, which allows for its presence to be felt at all times. It grants the holder the ability to gain revenge on those who have wronged them or intend to wrong them in the future. You will be capable of knowing another person’s true intentions and be able to see into their mind at will. Additionally, if someone is plotting against you, this piece will know of it long before the person has the opportunity to get one over on you.
Anything they attempt to take away from you you actually end up gaining and the misfortune is reversed on them. This piece can also be used to remove curses.
This bracelet is sterling silver and beautiful pink opals.
