Masquerade

This is a piece that has been created for two purposes actually.  One purpose deals directly with the astral realms.  The other deals with the mortal realm.  The power that this bestows upon you when using it in the astral realm is the ability to change face.  You can literally appear however you want to whomever you want and it won't go recognized.  Those of you who astral travel frequently know that the astral realms are self-governed with a certain set of criteria that under usual circumstances will give your true identity away if you are not careful.  Not this piece.  This piece wipes your metaphysical IP and will not allow any creature, entity, spirit, soul, or otherwise know who you are.  

When using this piece is the mortal realm, it does the opposite.  It gives you discernment enough to tear down the fake masks that people wear.  You will be able to see their true thoughts and to know their true feelings.  You will become a regular empath with the ability to know people's thoughts and emotions and to react accordingly.  Aside from the fact that it is just fun to know what others truly think, this piece will allow you to make certain that you are surrounding yourself with only people who are real with you, those who are loyal, and those who you can trust.
