This piece holds the essence of a psychic vampire. Psychic vampires are similar to sanguine vampires, except they don't feed off of other people's blood. They feed off of their energy. Drinking blood is a quick way of absorbing energy from another individual. However, psychic vampires do not have to do this. They feed off of the energies of other people using psychic disciplines that are given to them innately at birth.
This piece gives you the essence of a psychic vampire. It will allow you to experience what it feels like to be a psychic vampire. The piece gives you the ability to pull energy from others and to feed off of it. You will know what this feels like soon enough. It will allow you to open many psychic abilities with your mind. You will notice that these abilities show up after your third feeding or so. in addition, this piece allows you to pull the powers and abilities of other people via their energy. This way, you will also be able to feed on these abilities so they become your own. You can hunt down specific people-- or even entities-- to feast on their energy and gain their abilities.
You can also feed in a crown with this piece that way you go undetected. Literally, all you have to do to "feed" is stand a few feet away from a person and this piece will automatically begin funneling their energies into your body. In a crowd, simply move about and you will pull from multiple people at a time. You'll pick up on anybody with a special ability, then go stand close to them to absorb their energies and replicate their powers.
