The Arbatel de Magia Veterum is an ancient book of magic dated back to the Renaissance period. It is literally translated as Arbatel: Of the Magic of the Ancients. Unlike a lot of the grimoires of its time the Arbatel is different in that is does not hold any dark magic or malicious spells. Instead, it is credited to a group of white light mystics who wanted nothing more than to spread advice and guidance in pure magical ways.
The book was written in between 1536 and 1583, the final of which is believed to be one Theodor Zwinger, who led secret white light occult gatherings and was a Swiss Physician. The focus of the Arbatel is on nature and the relationships between the celestial worlds and humans.
